This image series of earth’s moon was taken in February with a Maksutov MC MTO-11CA lens with afocal length of 1000mm on my OM-D EM5II. This lens is quite huge and, therefore, a stable tripod and remote release certainly help to obtain sharp images. For the close-up image I used an additional 2x teleconverter to see how close I could get.
Photographing the night sky always has a very meditative effect and I am quite happy how this image turned out, especially in monochrome. In daylight, the moon also has its special appeal as seen in the 2 last photos, taken in late afternoon.
